NEWCOL AND -BRAKE

With this project, the company purchased a new electric bending machine (E Brake 130 3100) for sheet metal processing in a 4.0 perspective, with the aim of implementing remote data and programme management with millesimal bending controls. The machine consists of servo-electronic bending with an E able to bend uniformly; it is also controlled by CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and EC20 ed. The patented system combines electric motors, fixed and moving pulleys and belts and ensures a balanced distribution of forces; the bending angle is thus constant over the entire length and the deformation of the sheet metal is at an absolute minimum.

The use of a new generation of electronic components and software, applied to the dialogue between the software and the safety system, allows the synchronism between machine and operator to be optimised. This results in an extremely short reaction and stop time and a high folding speed, and the entire production cycle is up to 30% faster. The aim is to minimise energy costs and production waste without compromising production and quality, and minimise environmental effects.

The company was able to realise this project thanks to the support obtained from the POR FESR 2014-2020 in the amount of €43,638.00
